How our programs are run

The Communiqué programs are held through on-site training, open workshops, one-on-one coaching, and live webinars.

Learning is through a variety of interactive and participative techniques including exercises, worksheets, discussions, group work, and role play. The crux of the methodology used is an emphasis on ‘learning through doing’. These are supported with presentations on related theoretical frameworks.

Module Plan

While speaking good English is key for communicators, good writing skills can safely be surmised as being far more important. It is the primary responsibility of the communicator to compile messaging, get it right, and communicate it in a creative, yet grammatically accurate manner. It is also, however, true that today’s educational systems and dependence on technology has turned this skill into a rare one.

2 Day Workshop. Learning is through worksheets and discussions supported with presentations.

Executive Director

Second time around entrepreneur, Rama Arya has over 20 years’ experience in development communication, public relations, brand development and management, and external relations with inter-governmental, not-for-profit and private sector organizations. An equally successful and passionate conceptualist, strategist and implementer, she holds a Masters in Public Relations, University of Westminster, London and Bachelors in Applied Art, College of Art, Delhi University.

The Communiqué builds capacity in communication through tailored on-site training, open workshops, one-on-one coaching, and live webinars. For its open programs and webinars it partners with key leading organizations.

Key partnerships (past and ongoing) include: A Certificate Program in Development Communication with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Premium Blogger Certification Workshops in association with Indiblogger, online courses in business communication skills for the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and a public speaking and presentation skills module at the Indian School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe).
